More Information On Exceptions

U15 Only Game Count

Approval for exceptions for house teams (B) which exceed the out of district player limit-
B: 3; midget classification allowed 6; midget BB: 6

Associations must show that for more than one team in the same division, the out of district players were balanced among the teams.
New D4 guideline for 2015-2016: teams requesting an exemption must show that for those players over the limit, there was no team for them to play on in their home district or that the team is full. This will prevent team stacking.

The Council may or may not approve these exemptions.

Approval for exception for house teams (B) that do not comply with the sliding age scale-
Number Of Players 20 19 18 17 16 15 14 13 12 11 10
Max Second Year 13 12 11 10 10 9 9 8 8 7 6
Teams must identify how many second year players are on the team.

As a general practice these are approved without prejudice.

Approval for players who played less than 10 games- (non-national bound divisions 7 games)

Associations need to provide the date when the player was registered or declare the dates the player was injured. Associations must provide appropriate rational as to why the exception is needed. For purposes of this rule, Round 1 games of the D4 Districts cannot be counted toward the 10 (7 non-national bound divisions) games.

As a general practice these are approved without prejudice.

Approval for teams with less than 17 games (14 for non-national bound and girls)-

Associations need to provide the date when the team was rostered. Associations must provide appropriate rational as to why the exemption is needed.

For purposes of this rule, Round 1 games of the D4 Districts cannot be counted toward the 20 (17 for non-national bound and girls) games.

As a general practice these are approved without prejudice.

These items cannot be reviewed by the State Playoff Committee- no exception possible-
